Artwork > New Work

I imagine an interplay that intertwines classical relics with a primal animalistic force and layer this interchange with a complex psychological charge.

My working process begins by extemporaneously drawing with graphite and charcoal. Next I add washes of oil paint textured with sand, pumice, carborundum, and translucent wax mediums. Erasing, dissolving, and redirecting compositions, I improvise throughout seeking vitality in mark and image.
