ACCUMULATION
COMPOUND hosts the first ever MCAD MFA retrospective show
ACCUMULATION (Past + Present). The show consists of works by past and present MCAD MFA students spanning three decades.

Over 20 artists were selected by guest juror John Rasmussen of the Midway
Contemporary Art Center. The exhibition includes multi-disciplinary artists
that represent the unique curriculum of the MCAD MFA program.

Please join us January 20th from 6-9pm at the Whittier MCAD graduate
Gallery (2840 Grand Ave.) for the opening reception of ACCUMULATION. Light
refreshments and stimulating conversation provided.

2008 - 2009 Sabbatical / Faculty Chair
Michal was on sabbatical for the 2008 - 2009 school year was awarded the Breck Upper School Faculty Chair for Personal Involvement and Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring.

She spent the year working creatively as an artist, focusing on art inspired by La Convivencia, a term that describes the coexistence of Jews, Muslims and Christians in Andalucia from 711-1492 A.D.
